Job summary

Old Colony YMCA in Massachusetts is seeking an EEC Certified Infant/Toddler Teacher for our Easton site to provide a safe, educational, and nurturing learning environment for young children.

Applicants should meet EEC requirements, hold CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, be at least 21 or have a HS diploma, and be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work early mornings, late nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 or HS diploma and meet EEC education/experience requirements
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required
• Evidence of physical examination within last 12 months
• Immunity for measles, mumps, and rubella
• Ability to create and sustain a culture of excellence and work as part of a cohesive team
• Ability to lift/move heavy equipment and clean when necessary
• Will sometimes work early morning, late nights and weekends
• Strong oral communication skills for occasional public speaking responsibilities
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift up to 75lbs on occasion and 40lbs frequently for children

We are seeking to employ an EEC Certified Infant/Toddler Teacher for our Easton site

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 21 years of age or have a high school diploma or equivalent AND meet EEC requirements for education and experience for Teacher.
