Job Details

Position: Long Term Substitute Early Childhood Teacher

Description: A 1.0 FTE Long-term Substitute Early Childhood teacher position at Roosevelt Early Learning Center. Candidates should provide a developmentally appropriate learning environment focusing on cognitive, social/emotional, language, literacy, and physical/motor development. The teacher will collaborate with classroom paraprofessionals to foster a welcoming environment for parents and children. The position runs five days a week from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, starting August 25th and ending approximately October 28th, 2025.

Faribault Early Childhood is part of the Minnesota Centers of Excellence Pyramid Model. Experience with multi-tiered support systems for young learners is preferred.

Qualifications:

• Early Childhood Education License required
• Ability to work with young children in a team setting (2+ years experience preferred)
• Experience with diverse populations and special needs helpful
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs for child safety and emergency situations

Licensure:

State of Minnesota Early Childhood License
