Job summary

Cadence Education in Wareham, MA, is seeking a School Age Teacher to support daily classroom operations, implement Cadence Education programs, and foster a safe, engaging learning environment for children, including those with IEPs.

You will help maintain routines, support curriculum delivery, and build positive relationships with children and families while ensuring licensing compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Experience in early childhood or childcare settings preferred.
• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a Teacher in a licensed childcare center.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment where children are treated with dignity and care.
• Greet children and families daily and help establish professional, welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including IEPs.
• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Communicate professionally with families using Cadence-approved tools and systems.
• Follow safety and supervision policies and document incidents as required.
• Assist in managing behavior following Cadence policies and classroom expectations.
• Adhere to all Cadence Education policies and training.
