Cadence Education in Wareham, MA is seeking a Preschool/Pre-K Lead Teacher to guide early learning, implement Cadence programs, and support children with diverse needs in a licensed childcare setting.

You will plan curriculum, foster safe, inclusive classrooms, and partner with families while adhering to licensing requirements and school policies. The role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for Lead Teachers in licensed childcare.
• 6–12 months of early childhood or classroom experience preferred.
• DHS licensing qualifications may include CDA, CCP, EEC or NAC credentials.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming, inclusive classroom where each child is treated with dignity and care.
• Build positive, professional relationships with children and families and maintain daily communication.
• Recognize diverse developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs including IEPs and behavior plans.
• Plan, implement, and document developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Cadence programs.
• Use Cadence systems to communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership.
• Maintain a safe, well-supervised classroom per Safety and Supervision Manual.
• Document and report accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors per policy and licensing.
• Follow Cadence policies, procedures, and standards in the Handbook.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and professional development, may extend beyond hours.
