Job summary

Encompass in Wisconsin is seeking a Child Care Teacher to provide high-quality early learning experiences using the HighScope curriculum. The role supports children's physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and developmental growth in a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education, be able to supervise and collaborate with families and colleagues, and maintain program requirements including DCF, NAEYC, and COR Advantage

Qualifications

• Must be registered with The Registry (Wisconsin) or eligible to register.
• Lead Educators must meet DCF and NAEYC education requirements.
• Must obtain Pediatric First Aid, CPR/AED, Abusive Head Trauma Prevention, and Mandated Reporter Training.
• Prior experience in an early childhood education setting is required.
• Experience with HighScope or Conscious Discipline is preferred.
• Experience in a NAEYC-accredited program is preferred.

• Ensure attendance and scheduling compliance with relevant ratios and regulations.
• Complete required background checks and meet regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate agency values and commitment to Encompass's mission.
• Align classroom practices with HighScope, COR Advantage, DCF, NAEYC, and YoungStar requirements.
