Job summary

Encompass in Wisconsin seeks a Child Care Teacher to deliver HighScope-based early learning, fostering belonging, independence, and well-being while supporting growth across physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and developmental domains.

You will observe, document, assess, and plan developmentally appropriate activities, partner with families, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate with colleagues to meet DCF, NAEYC standards and HighScope alignment.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with or eligible to register with The Registry (WI).
• Lead Educators must meet the education requirements established by DCF and NAEYC.
• Must obtain Pediatric First Aid, CPR/AED, and mandated trainings.
• Prior experience in an early childhood education setting is required.
• Experience with HighScope or Conscious Discipline is preferred.
• Experience in a NAEYC-accredited program is preferred.
