Job summary

TidalHealth seeks a dedicated Child Care Teacher in Salisbury, MD to safeguard the health and well-being of all children in the Center. You will follow Medical Center policies and Maryland regulations, delivering attentive care and supporting daily routines.

Requirements include HS diploma or GED, ongoing training, First Aid/CPR, and experience with preschoolers in licensed settings. This role offers benefits and a stable on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Annual 12 hours continuing training required.
• Heartsaver First Aid & CPR certification within 6 months of hire.
• Complete 3 sem hrs or 90 clock hrs in infant/toddler care or hold CDA credential.
• 9 clock hours of pre-service training in staff/public communication.
• 1 year of experience with preschoolers in licensed centers or equivalent.
• Associates or higher degree with approved early childhood courses.
• MSDE-approved early childhood teacher qualification if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of all children in the Center.
• Adhere to Medical Center policies and Maryland State regulations.
• Provide care for assigned children and support classroom activities.
• Collaborate with staff and communicate with parents as needed.
