Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking Bright Horizons Teacher in Downtown Phoenix, AZ. Full-time and part-time positions are available for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm or 2:00pm - 6:00pm, create hands-on activities, and maintain a safe classroom while providing coverage as needed across

Qualifications

• Must pass required state and company background checks
• Must meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements
• DAP knowledge is required

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or in nearby locations

Education

High school diploma or GED

College-level coursework in early childhood education, CDA, or an associate or bachelor's degree in early education or related field

1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings

Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP)
