Job summary

Bright Horizons is hiring a Teacher to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in Peoria. Both full-time and part-time roles are available, with opportunities to pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost.

You will create engaging activities, communicate progress to families, and maintain a safe, organized classroom. Ideal candidates have background checks compliance, some experience in early education, and a passion for child development.

Qualifications

• Must pass state and company background checks.
• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required.
• College-level coursework in early childhood education or related degree preferred.
• 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) required.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet children's needs and interests.
• Maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe, clean classroom by following procedures and guidelines.
• Provide support across classrooms or age groups as needed.
