The Learning Experience #406 in Lake Wylie, SC is seeking enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher Floaters to support multiple classrooms and age groups. You will implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and help create a safe, nurturing environment that fosters growth.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (CDA or ECE coursework preferred) and a genuine love for working with children. CPR/First Aid certification and a background check are required or obtainable, with the center

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CDA, ECE coursework, or degree preferred
• Prior experience in early childhood education or licensed childcare setting
• Flexibility to work across multiple classrooms and age groups
• Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate practices
• Current or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
• Ability to pass a background check per state requirements
• Warm, patient, team-oriented demeanor with a love for working with children

Responsibilities

• Float between early childhood classrooms to provide coverage and support across all age groups
• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities aligned with early childhood development standards
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for children
• Assist lead teachers with daily routines including meals, nap time, and transitions
• Observe and document child development milestones and communicate progress to families
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and center health and safety protocols
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members
