Williams College Children’s Center seeks experienced teachers to join a dedicated team providing quality child care and education. This full-time, year-round position offers a support-focused environment with state-of-the-art facilities dedicated to early childhood education.

The role emphasizes responding to children’s interests, collaborating with staff on emergent, project-based curricula, and participating in school-wide inquiry and development.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in early childhood education or a combination of education and experience.
• Passion for and knowledge of early education and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Certification requirements with Department of Early Education and Care; eligible to obtain within 12 months with Williams coursework.

Responsibilities

• Respond to children’s interests and strengths and collaborate with staff to create project-based emergent curriculum.
• Participate enthusiastically in school-wide inquiry and staff development.
• Interact with children, families and staff from diverse backgrounds and actively join in classroom activities.
