Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington seeks a CDC Teacher to establish communication channels with students, parents and staff, ensuring family and treatment goals are met. The role supports compliance, supervises care for children, and maintains a safe, healthy learning environment in line with OSSE regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and meet one of the education requirements.
• Experience in behavior management and/or working with students with disabilities is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office Software and maintaining credential requirements per CCADW/OSSE policies.

Responsibilities

• Adapts and modifies lesson plans to progress through curriculum.
• Collects data to document progress toward Core Curriculum and IFSP goals.
• Collaborates with the IFSP team to implement classroom goals.
• Regularly meets with Director concerning student goals and needs.
• Conducts mandatory home visits per OSSE regulations.
• Plans with classroom team to support Kennedy Institute students.
• Arranges in-service trainings for Kennedy Institute staff.
• Prepares and implements student academic goal plans.

Associate degree in early childhood education or related field

Associate degree plus 24 split hours in related field with 1 year supervised experience

48 semester hours with 15 in ECE and 2 years supervised experience

High school diploma + CDA credential
