Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington is seeking a CDC Teacher to support students and families within Kennedy Institute. The role emphasizes compliance, supervision, and creating a safe, engaging classroom environment that promotes positive developmental outcomes.

The position collaborates with the Sr. Program Manager and school staff to adapt curriculum, track progress, and ensure OSSE-compliant practices while supporting a diverse student population.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office and related software.
• Credential maintenance per CCADW/OSSE policies.
• Experience with special education practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adapt and modify lesson plans to support student progression.
• Collect data to document progress toward curriculum and IFSP goals.
• Collaborate with IFSP team to set classroom goals and modify assignments.
• Meet with Director on student goals and needs; plan with classroom team.
• Conduct home visits as required by OSSE regulations.
• Support staff and Sr. Program Manager in trainings and in-service sessions.
• Prepare and implement student academic goal plans with checkpoints.
• Maintain documentation of participation, achievements, and contacts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
