Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Teacher to lead classrooms, implement the curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment for children. You’ll engage with families and partners to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or NAECY candidacy.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum to fit each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center success by working with staff to achieve enrollment and engagement goals.
• Cultivate strong relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and partners.
