Job summary

Bon Secours Richmond Health Source Shared Services is seeking a Teacher Assistant to support classroom teachers and provide a safe, nurturing environment for young children in Richmond, VA.

You will supervise daily routines, help prepare materials, maintain child-to-staff ratios, and document daily reports. First Aid/CPR required within state timeline; HS diploma or GED required; ECE coursework preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of child development and age-appropriate learning activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to supervise and interact positively with children.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures related to child safety and licensing requirements.
