Job summary

Acquire4Hire is seeking a Lead Teacher for a Montessori-informed classroom serving 3- to 5-year-olds. The role begins as a full-time, long-term substitute to cover a leave of absence and will transition to a permanent co-teaching position upon the staff member's return.

The ideal candidate will meet Wisconsin childcare licensing benchmarks and have classroom experience in early childhood education, with comfort in leading social-emotional instruction and partnering with families.

Qualifications

We are looking for the right individual to add to our teaching team! We pride ourselves on our long history of professional educators in our field and a reputation for building strong relationships with our families. An ideal candidate should be comfortable teaching in a Montessori influenced classroom of 3-5-year-olds. This position would begin as a full-time, long-term substitute to cover a leave of absence, and transition to a permanent co-teaching role upon the staff member's return.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with teaching team members to:

• provide inclusive classrooms that accommodate diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs
• create visual schedules and consistent transition cues to help children independently navigate daily routines
• lead small-group social emotional lessons utilizing role-play, children's literature and age-appropriate "solution kits"
• engage with families - maintain casual daily touchpoints with parents during drop-off and pick-up windows to share quick, positive highlights and/or behavioral strategies

Requirements

We are seeking a qualified Lead Teacher who meets Wisconsin childcare licensing benchmarks and classroom experience. Required coursework would include:

• Introduction to the Child Care Profession
