About the Role

You will provide a safe, developmentally appropriate infant-Pre-K child development program, adhering to Arkansas licensing standards. You will collaborate with staff across programs to serve children and parents using a two-generation approach.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children at all times, including classroom, bathroom, and playground
• Establish routines and provide positive guidance
• Document developmental milestones and daily needs
• Assist with food service and maintain cleanliness
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
• Implement Conscious Discipline and manage classroom effectively
• Communicate clearly with children and parents
• Integrate children with special needs appropriately
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of equipment and facilities
• Participate in community activities and team meetings

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience with young children
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or CDA preferred
• Ability to pass background and registry checks
• Complete 30 hours of professional development annually
• Ability to lift 30 lbs
