Job summary

Hire Up Recruiting is assisting a brand-new preschool in Hewitt, TX to hire Early Childhood Teachers. This direct-hire role offers full-time or part-time opportunities, with a Monday–Friday year-round schedule and a salary of $17.00–$20.00 per hour depending on education and credentials.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma; CDA/Associate/Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility
• Must lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
• Must meet background check eligibility

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Assist the Lead Teacher with planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum, and maintain educational portfolios
• Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
• Communicate with parents about their child's progress and concerns
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
