Early Childhood Teacher - Foster City, CA

($4000 Hiring Incentive)

Full-time positions are now available with infants/ toddlers (0-24 months) and preschoolers.

Responsibilities:
  1. Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  2. Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
  • CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education or related field is preferred
  • 12 Child Development units completed: Child Development, Child, Family, and Community, Introduction to Curriculum, Principles and Practices; Infant and Toddler Development class required for Infant/Toddler positions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children
  • Transcripts will be required at the time of hire
  • AA/BA in Early Childhood Education preferred
Additional Information:

This position requires compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, including immunizations, physicals, and training. The role involves working in person at an early education center to provide supervision, care, and curriculum delivery, ensuring children's safety.

Compensation and Benefits:

The hourly rate ranges from $25.75 to $31.45, depending on experience and other factors. Additionally, there is a $4000 hiring incentive payable after 100 days of employment.
