Job summary

Pathways Early Education in Immokalee, FL seeks a dedicated Support Teacher to assist the Lead Teacher across age groups. You will support instructional activities, routines, and care tasks to foster a developmentally appropriate learning environment, promoting social, emotional, and academic growth.

In addition, you will support VPK classrooms, ALRI sessions, ASQ screenings, and daily health checks while ensuring safety and collaboration with the teaching team.

Qualifications

• DCF training hours completed or in progress.
• Preference for CDA/FCCPC or ECE degree.
• Experience in early childhood settings preferred.
• Familiarity with teaching curricula and screenings is beneficial.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and engage actively.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher with daily instruction aligned to curriculum.
• Support observations and documentation of child development.
• Participate in ALRI activities in VPK classrooms when applicable.
• Assist with ASQ screenings and ongoing assessments.
• Maintain health, safety, and classroom cleanliness throughout the day.
