Now Hiring a Child Care Substitute Teacher in Sacramento, California!

Part-time position available across multiple age groups.

Responsibilities:
  • Create hands-on activities tailored to children's needs and interests
  • Maintain open communication with parents about their child's milestones
  • Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following established procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  • 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
  • ECE units completed: Child Development, Child Family Community, and 2 curriculum courses. For Infant or Toddler positions, the Infant/Toddler class is required as one of the curriculum courses. Transcripts are required at hire.
  • Preferred: 1 year of professional experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings
  • Preferred: CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education or related field

Physical Requirements:

This role requires compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, including immunizations and employment physicals. You will work in person at an early education center, providing supervision, care, and curriculum delivery in accordance with policies and legal requirements to ensure children's safety. Compensation:

The hourly rate ranges from $16.85 - $20.95. Actual offers depend on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors.
