The recruitment of substitute staff will effectively support teachers, teacher assistants, kitchen staff, and custodians across the ITAV Family of Schools network.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow all policies, procedures, and regulations set forth by the Center and DCFS.
  • Provide quality care and supervision to children in accordance with state guidelines and Center policies.
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children.
  • Work collaboratively with permanent staff to ensure the smooth operation of the classroom.
  • Fulfill all assigned teaching and caregiving duties in a professional manner.

Why Join Us?

  • Impact: Provide essential support to students and staff by ensuring continuity in learning during teacher absences.
  • Growth: Gain valuable experience in a dynamic educational environment with opportunities for professional development.
  • Community: Join a dedicated team of educators committed to fostering a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere.
  • Innovation: Adapt to diverse classroom settings while contributing to an educational model that emphasizes social justice, community engagement, and academic excellence.
