Job summary

Edina Public Schools seeks an Educational Associate for Special Education in the Early Learning and Family Center. You will support teachers and students across instructional reinforcement and learning assistance, working one-on-one and in small groups to promote student success.

The role requires an Associate's Degree or 60 credits with ParaPro eligibility; prior experience with diverse student populations and strong communication skills are important.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or at least two years of post-secondary education (a minimum of 60 semester credits), or a passing score on the ParaPro assessment
• Experience working with students
• Experience working with diverse student populations
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support teachers and students with academic, social, motor, behavioral, health, life skills and other tasks.
• Work one-on-one and with small groups to reinforce instruction and provide learning assistance.
