Job summary

Edina Public Schools is seeking an Educational Associate for Special Education as a long-term substitute at Cornelia Elementary School. The role runs 8:00 am – 2:30 pm on student contact days and focuses on supporting teachers and students within instructional reinforcement and learning assistance.

The ideal candidate has an associate's degree or 60 credits (or ParaPro), experience with students and diverse populations, and strong communication skills to support a caring school environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or at least 60 semester credits or ParaPro passing score.
• Experience working with students.
• Experience with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers and students in instructional reinforcement and learning.
• Work one-on-one and in small groups to assist with academic, social, and life skills.
• Assist with behavioral and health-related tasks as needed.
