Job summary

Edina Public Schools is seeking an Educational Associate for Special Education to assist teachers and support students across various needs. This role focuses on providing individual and small group support in areas such as academic, social, and motor tasks.

Position Summary

With the focus to support and advance the Edina Public Schools' mission, vision, and core values, the Educational Associate for Special Education assists teachers and supports students with academic, social, motor, behavioral, health, life skills, and other functional tasks. Educational Associates work one‑on‑one and with small groups of students in the areas of instructional reinforcement and student support and learning assistance.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or at least two years of post‑secondary education (minimum 60 semester credits), or a passing score on the ParaPro assessment

• Strong communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $23.00 per hour.
