T&K Pediatric Services in Jamestown, ND, is seeking an Early Childhood Special Educator to provide individualized intervention for young children with developmental delays. You will collaborate with families to design plans that support each child’s growth through play and everyday activities.

The role emphasizes teamwork with therapists and other professionals, travel to support families, and building strong home routines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Special Education or a related field.
• Experience with infants/toddlers is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organized, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsabilités

• Complete developmental assessments and identify strengths and needs.
• Provide individualized services based on developmental goals.
• Use play and family routines to encourage learning.
• Coach families on supporting development at home.
• Monitor progress and maintain records.
• Communicate with families and care team.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborative planning.
• Coordinate with OT, PT, speech therapy, behavioral health, and other services.

In This Role, You Will

• Complete developmental assessments and help identify children's individual strengths and areas of need
• Provide individualized early childhood services based on each child's developmental goals
• Use play, everyday activities, and family routines to encourage learning and skill development
• Work directly with children and coach families on ways to support development at home
• Monitor developmental progress and maintain accurate records
• Communicate regularly with families and members of the child's care team
• Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and collaborative planning
• Coordinate with professionals in occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, behavioral health, and other areas of service

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Special Education, Special Education, Social Work, or a related field
• Experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children is preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Organized, dependable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed to support children and families
