Job summary

Anne Carlsen Center in Jamestown, ND, seeks an Early Intervention Specialist to deliver home-based developmental services to infants and toddlers and their families. The program operates regionally across North Dakota, with a focus on family-centered care.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, ND licensure, and a valid ND driver’s license with local travel. Preferred candidates may have advanced degrees and prior EI experience, and are prepared for after-training remote work."

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Education, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Registered Nursing, Social Work, Special Education, or Speech Therapy.
• Active North Dakota licensure in individual discipline or area of study.
• Valid North Dakota driver’s license and local travel required.

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based early intervention services to infants and toddlers and their families.
• Deliver regional program across North Dakota.
• Collaborate with families and care teams to support development.

Shift: Weekdays, Various Hours

Job Schedule: Part Time & Full Time

Weekly Hours: 24-40

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this job is to provide home-based family-focused early intervention and developmental services to assigned infants and toddlers and their families. The Early Intervention program is provided on a regional basis across the state of North Dakota.

QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements)

Education and/or years’ experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Education, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Registered Nursing, Social Work, Special Education, or Speech Therapy
• Program emphasis on early childhood special needs training or practicum
• Active North Dakota licensure in individual discipline or area of study
• Valid North Dakota driver’s license
• Local travel required

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

• Master’s degree or Doctorate is required
• Prior experience in Early Intervention programming
• Prior experience in special education, early childhood development or developmental disabilities

Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable): This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
