Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education (ECE) required.
• Current California site supervisor permit required.
• Minimum four years teaching experience in preschool with at least two years of supervision.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement center-level service area plans aligned with standards and funding requirements.
• Provide supervision, guidance, and performance reviews for teachers and cooks.
• Promote staff development through training and coaching in the classroom.
• Coordinate staff schedules to ensure classroom coverage and substitute when needed.
• Plan and oversee developmentally appropriate, culturally diverse curriculum.
• Maintain classroom appearance and learning environment; coordinate with staff.
• Prepare timely reports and submit required documents.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance; monitor licensing records.
• Coordinate parent orientation and involvement; liaise with families and community.
• Renew licenses and certifications as due; ensure health and safety compliance.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.
