Job summary

Children of America in Stafford, VA is seeking an Assistant School Director to lead a talented team of teachers and support staff, ensure high-quality early childhood education, and manage daily operations in alignment with COA policies and state regulations.

You will drive enrollment growth, mentor staff, and partner with families while meeting budget expectations and maintaining COA's standards for safety and curriculum.

Qualifications

• Minimum CDA or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Advanced knowledge in early childhood education.
• Flexible in challenging situations.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships.
• Commitment to professional development.
• Effective decision-making skills.
• Proficient in the use of technology, including MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must meet state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and retain a talented team of people.
• Understand, comply with, and work to exceed all regulations as directed by your state.
• Continuously pursue enrollment growth through the execution of the COA Experience.
• Continuously pursue quality care through the execution of our curriculum.
• Manage all day-to-day operations utilizing COA's processes, procedures, and policies.
• Meet all COA performance standards in terms of operations and education as outlined in your annual budget.
