The role focuses on small-group and one-on-one support, assisting with instructional activities, meals, and school routines. Requires 48 college credits or paraprofessional test, plus CPI, CPR/First Aid, and OSDE certification

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required with additional college credits or test success.
• Complete Paraprofessional CPI certificate, CPR and First Aid certification.
• Obtain OSDE Tiered Certification and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor small groups or one-on-one to support individual student goals.
• Assist with meals, transportation, class activities, and routines.
• Support instruction, supervise students, and maintain behavior records.
• Attend IEP meetings and communicate with teachers while preserving confidentiality.
