Southwest Local Schools seeks a Part-Time Paraprofessional I at the Southwest Early Childhood Learning Center in Harrison, Ohio. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• State-tested nurse aide (STNA) or CNA certification required.
• Educational Aide Permit or equivalent credential required or obtainable.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Completion of district-specific training related to student care.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support per IEP goals.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers and nurses to implement plans.
• Observe and document student progress and health information.
• Support transitions and participation in classes and activities.
• Maintain student safety and confidentiality.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Attend required trainings and professional development.

Education
