Encore Music & Performing Arts seeks an early childhood music instructor to lead in-person group classes on Thursday mornings with other weekday morning options. Training and curriculum provided; start part-time with hourly rate $40–$45.

• Good people skills: works well with both children and adults, and enjoys building client relationships
• Timely & Reliable: though we appreciate the gigging musician, we are not looking for musicians who regularly ask off to travel and record. Consistency in lessons is important to student growth & success.
• Good time management skills
• A positive attitude during instruction: the ability to encourage and motivate students to work through their weak areas and to build upon their strengths.
• The desire to collaborate with a team to create a high quality, yet fun, music education environment.
• Must love teaching- the desire to make teaching your career is a big plus!

Job description

Seeking a qualified early childhood music teachers for in-person group classes Thursday mornings + other weekday morning options available, with training and subbing opportunities. Must have some experience with Mommy & Me type music ages 6 months to 3 years old, love children, and be reliable! Curriculum and initial training is provided, but a foundation in early childhood songs is a plus. We are looking for a highly qualified & versatile instructor to join our team of effective and caring music educators!

Instructors will begin on part-time, employees. Beginning hourly rate $40-$45/hour. Classes are to be taught on site, in person. We are in need of a group music teacher that is comfortable sharing the love of music with babies and toddlers. We provide dental, telemedicine, accrued sick leave, and professional development workshops.
