Job summary

Big Blue Marble Academy is seeking an Early Child Care Lead Teacher to guide an engaging, world-curated play-based curriculum for infants to preschoolers. You will plan activities, monitor development, and help children reach key milestones in a supportive, inclusive setting.

You will develop daily family rapport through updates and reports, while adhering to enhanced safety guidelines and classroom care requirements. This role offers on-site work with opportunities for growth within BBMA.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• South Carolina Child Care Credential or CDA.
• Early Childhood coursework, CDA or degree preferred.
• At least six months of licensed childcare experience.
• At least six months experience working in child care, daycare or preschool preferred.
• Employees must be able to stand for six to eight hours daily and lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Must be able to visually supervise children at all times.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities using a play-based curriculum, guiding children on a world-spanning adventure while developing developmentally appropriate skills.
• Develop rapport with families daily and share milestones through electronic daily reports.
• Follow enhanced safety guidelines to keep the classroom clean and safe.
