Opportunities for Williamson & Burnet Counties seeks an Education Coach to mentor teachers in early childhood education, focusing on health and safety for children and curriculum alignment. The role reports to the Education Coordinator and supports staff with development plans and performance coaching.

The position involves coordinating with Instructional Coaches, providing extensive classroom guidance, and maintaining records of visits and outcomes to improve program quality.

Competenze

• Associate degree in early childhood education including six or more courses in ECE and/or Child Development.
• Two years of work experience in childcare/development setting.
• Valid Texas driver’s license; CPR and First Aid certifications; CLASS observer reliability.

Mansioni

• Observe, model and coach developmentally effective early childhood instructional techniques in the classroom.
• Conduct formal observations based on coaching model to improve teacher performance.
• Provide guidance and support to staff through individual professional development plans.
• Collaborate with Instructional Coaches to identify teachers needing intensive support.
• Oversee curriculum implementation to ensure age-appropriate activities across development areas.
• Maintain documentation of visits and observations and communicate with Education Coordinator.
