Job summary

KinderCare in Needham, MA is seeking an Early Childhood Educator to lead, coach and mentor in the classroom, implementing our curriculum while adapting to each child's needs. You’ll create a safe, nurturing environment and partner with parents to support every child’s growth.

You will collaborate with center staff to drive enrollment, accreditation and family engagement, building strong community relations.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or pursuing NAECY candidacy.
• State trainer approval preferred and CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Meet state qualifications for the role and English literacy for communication with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
