Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking teachers to foster growth in infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Full-time and part-time positions are available with opportunities to pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost.

In-person classroom roles across states emphasize safety, communication with families, and developmental activities. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, preferred ECE coursework or degrees, and prior teaching experience.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required.
• College-level coursework in early childhood education, CDA, or an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) is required.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Fulfill mandated reporter requirements as defined by the appropriate State agency, including reporting any suspected cases of child abuse or neglect to the agency and informing the director.
• If Resource role must include: provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or in nearby locations.
