The Learning Experience – Ledgewood is seeking a compassionate Daycare Teacher to join our growing team. This full-time role is based in Ledgewood, NJ, offering a competitive hourly pay between $17 and $18.

You’ll create a safe, engaging environment where children learn through play and exploration. Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities, supporting language and social-emotional development, supervising daily routines, and building strong relationships with families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in daycare/childcare/preschool or early childhood education preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming classroom where children feel safe and supported.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play.
• Support children's language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Supervise daily routines including meals, outdoor play, rest time, and transitions.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
• Follow all New Jersey licensing regulations and center health and safety standards.
