Job summary

St. Anne's Family Services in Lugo, Lynwood, CA seeks full-time Early Childhood Education teachers to support children birth to 5 years and families in a Head Start/ECE program.

You will supervise classroom activities, implement curricula, and partner with families to promote health, nutrition and social-emotional development. The role offers hybrid options and a 9/80 schedule where applicable.

Qualifications

• AA/BA in ECE, child development, or related field.
• 3 Infant/Toddler Development units required at hire.
• 6 Infant/Toddler units required by end of first year.
• High school diploma accepted with ECE/CHDV units.
• 12 ECE/CHDV units including growth, family, and programs.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide diapering, dressing, and personal care for infants and toddlers.
• Nurture children through activities supporting social, emotional, physical and intellectual development.
• Implement curriculum and daily planning; observe and document child development.
• Collaborate with staff to support families with resources across services.
• Maintain records, conduct screenings, and support school-readiness with parental involvement.
