Primrose School at Brier Creek is seeking a Lead Early Childhood Teacher to guide preschool learners within a nurturing classroom. The role emphasizes building trusted relationships, delivering a time-tested Balanced Learning curriculum, and partnering with families to support development.

Qualifications

• Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency.
• Must have a NC Background Check Qualifying Letter from the NCDCDEE.
• Current TB and Physical Required (within the last year).
• Current Background Check Qualifying Letter with the NC Division of Child Development required.

Desired skills and Qualifications

• Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency

• Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred
• Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.
• 2 or 4 year degree in early childhood or related field preferred
