Job summary

The Goddard School of Reading, MA is seeking a passionate Director of Education to lead our teaching teams and uphold exceptional early learning standards. You will guide curriculum development, coach teachers, and partner with families to support every child's growth.

As a proven leader in licensed childcare, you will manage staffing, scheduling, and day-to-day operations while fostering a collaborative, inclusive learning environment that inspires both staff and children to achieve their best.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years as a Director in a licensed Childcare Center.
• MA Director I or II Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum implementation and development and ensure high-quality, developmentally appropriate educational practices.
• Coach and support teachers through lesson planning, classroom practices, assessment, and professional development.
• Drive collaboration and continuous improvement across the teaching teams.
• Foster a supportive, engaging learning environment for children, teachers, and families.
• Partner with leadership on staffing, scheduling, supervision, coverage, and day-to-day school operations.
