Position Summary: Provides support and assistance to early childhood education staff, supporting high-quality parent, family, and community engagement. This temporary role involves assisting teachers in a child care center setting. It is temporary and does not lead to permanent employment. Temporary employees generally receive minimal benefits, but under certain circumstances, may be eligible for retirement and insurance coverage. They are covered by Social Security, with taxes deducted from paychecks, and the State of Wisconsin pays a matching share. Workers may be eligible for worker's compensation benefits if injured on the job. Temporary employees are not eligible for sick leave, vacation, or holiday pay.
