Job summary

Colorado-based CPCD, in partnership with Pikes Peak State College, offers an Early Educator Apprenticeship Program. This competency-based apprenticeship spans at least one year, with 2,000 On the Job Learning hours and 44 competencies, plus 199 related instruction hours.

Apprentices will receive a progressively increasing wage as they gain experience. The Apprentice Teacher Assistant role supports teachers in creating safe, healthy, high-quality learning environments and engaging families,

Responsibilities

• Apprentice Teacher Assistant will assist teachers in planning and implementing safe, healthy, high-quality learning experiences and environments that advance the development of the whole child in partnership with families.
• Implements a balance of group and individualized experiences to promote school readiness skills as defined by CPCD’s School Readiness Action Plan.
