Air Force Test Center at Edwards AFB seeks a Full-Time Training and Curriculum Specialist to serve as the education specialist for child and youth programs, training staff, volunteers, and contractors in curriculum delivery and development. The role supports child development centers, family child care, school-age, and youth programs at Edwards AFB.

The position requires U.S. citizenship, a degree in education or related field, and the ability to obtain necessary certifications.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Pass pre-employment checks including FBI fingerprint and criminal history as applicable.
• Degree in education or related field or major study in Child Development/ECE.
• Ability to obtain ServSafe, Food Handler’s, First Aid, and CPR certifications and complete required training.
• Pre-employment physical may be required.

Responsabilités

• Oversees, develops, and revises curricula for child development and youth programs.
• Trains, mentors, and models curriculum implementation and classroom management.
• Creates and implements a professional development plan through observation and coaching.
• Develops and tracks orientation and annual training for personnel.
• Supports children with special needs by coordinating with support agencies and ensuring compliance.
