Cub House on the Bayou is seeking an Early Childhood Curriculum Coordinator to oversee development and implementation of the curriculum across our early childhood programs, collaborating with teachers to ensure high-quality instruction and a positive learning environment.

The role includes assessing progress, providing feedback, coordinating events, and shaping lesson plans while aligning with state standards; strong communication and leadership are essential for supporting teachers and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in teaching or coordinating early childhood education programs.
• Strong knowledge of child development and state guidelines and standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents and other professionals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and curriculum development tools.
• Familiarity with CLASS, TS Gold, ASQ, Frog Street Curriculum.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive early childhood curriculum aligned with state standards.
• Collaborate with teachers to ensure effective curriculum delivery and student progress.
• Provide mentoring, coaching, and professional development for teachers.
• Assess child and teacher progress and create individualized support plans.
• Coordinate events such as parent conferences and community activities.
• Create lesson plans and guide teachers on implementation in classrooms.
• Monitor curriculum effectiveness and update practices as needed.
• Collaborate with specialists to support children with special needs.
