Qualifications

• Ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with children in a professional setting and experience conducting investigations.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong time-management abilities.
• Education in Early Childhood or related field is preferred.
• Pre-employment background check required and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with applicable State and Federal Regulations for licensed child care facilities and out-of-school time programs.
• Conduct on-site survey visits to identify hazards and ensure a humane, safe, and developmentally appropriate environment.
• Investigate incidents and complaints and participate in administrative hearings; write reports and plan actions.
• Provide training and technical assistance to child care providers on regulations and developmentally appropriate practices.
