Job summary

Celina City Schools Mercer County Head Start in Celina, Ohio seeks an Early Childhood Education Coach to mentor teaching staff, guide lesson planning, and provide observation-based feedback. The role focuses on supporting preschool classrooms and fostering family partnerships within a comprehensive Head Start program.

The candidate will collaborate with education management, health and disabilities services staff, and families to promote readiness and growth for children aged 3 to 5.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
• Three years of preschool teaching experience; adult mentoring or coaching background preferred.
• Clean criminal history check and required TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support: Build trusting, strengths-based relationships with teachers to boost classroom quality.
• Guide learning: Help staff plan age-appropriate activities and design engaging indoor and outdoor environments.
• Observe and feedback: Conduct classroom observations with program tools and offer verbal and written feedback.
• Facilitate growth: Plan individual and group professional development sessions.
• Collaborate widely: Partner with families, education management, health, mental health, and disabilities services staff.
