Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with groups of young children is preferred.
• Certified training in child abuse recognition and prevention, communicable disease recognition and management, first aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in classroom functions and activities (indoors and outdoors, field trips, and school events).
• Assist teachers with classroom curricular activities.
• Ensure the safety of students.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and comply with standards.
• Interact positively with staff, students and parents.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and trainings as required.
