Job summary

Child Development Schools is seeking a Bus Driver in Benson, North Carolina to provide safe, reliable transportation for students and support early childhood classrooms. You will work with the Lead Teacher to create meaningful learning moments, observing children and communicating with families daily in a warm, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a background check
• Genuine care for children and a commitment to their safety and well-being
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with families
• Physical ability to meet the demands of working with young children

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements
• Provide on time, safe and reliable transportation for our Before and After School programs
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports
