Job summary

Child Development Schools is seeking a dedicated Bus Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for students en route to and from school and activities. You will support classrooms by partnering with Lead Teachers and helping create a nurturing, curious environment for young learners.

You will engage with children during transitions, meals, and outdoor time, document attendance and daily reports, and communicate warmly with families while upholding licensing and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Genuine care for children and a commitment to their safety.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with families.
• Physical ability to meet the demands of working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements
• Provide on time, safe and reliable transportation for our Before and After School programs
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports
