Little Highlander's Learning Center, part of Howell Public Schools, invites applications for Early Childhood Assistant Teachers (positions via EDUStaff). The location is Howell, Michigan, with 30–40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, starting immediately.

Starting wage is $15.50 per hour, with benefits including paid time off holidays, vacation, and Act of God days. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, experience with children, customer service skills, and

Position : Early Childhood Assistant Teachers (Positions will be hired via EDUStaff)

Location : Howell Public Schools - Little Highlanders Learning Center

Hours: 30-40 hours/week; Monday through Friday; 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Wage Rate: Starting at$15.50/hour or more based upon experience/education and/or certification

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Experience working with children.

Language Skills:

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from parents, administrators, students, staff and the general public consistent with the duties of this position.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence.
• Must have phone skills and communicate with people over the phone.

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
